Water cut in Sepang, Kuala Selangor

Shah Alam: Kuala Selangor and Sepang will  experience  disruption of water  to facilitate maintenance works by Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor (Syabas).

A total of 8,553 consumers from the two areas will be affected by the disruptions from 9pm on Oct 23 to 4am on Oct 24.

“Consumers are advised to save water and use it sparsely throughout the disruption,” said Syabas corporate communications and public relations assistant general manager Priscilla Alfred.

Contractors will be replacing 700mm butterfly valves at the junction between Jalan Raja Muda and Jalan Bukit Belimbing in Kuala Selangor.

The affected areas will include Bukit Belimbing, Pasir Penambang, Sungai Yu, Sungai Gulang-Gulang, Parit Serong, Tiram Burok, Sawah Sempadan and Tanjung Karang.

Contractors will also be installing two 250mm Sluice valves to separate zones for the reticulation system in Kota Warisan, Sepang.

Affected areas include Phases 1 to 5, Superb Frame, and Precincts 1 to 3.
