PETALING JAYA: The 12th Guardian Customers’ Choice Awards was held in the Studio Lounge, Tropicana City Mall, on July 19 to reward customers who voted for their favourite brands.

“Guardian’s Customers’ Choice Award was rated by our customers. This is truly recognition as it is selected by the most important people in our business, our customers,” said Guardian general manager (Merchandising) Soon Ai Lan.

Awards were given out to 90 categories which were contested by over 200 brands and 354 products ranging from hair, face care, personal care for men and women, cosmetics, hygiene, supplements, medication, confectionery to home accessories.

  Customers took home prizes worth more than RM30,000 in the “Vote and Win” contest with this year’s grand prize winner, Lim Kai Jun, taking home RM10,000 worth of Guardian vouchers and a 3D/2N holiday package at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur.

Two first prize winners won vouchers worth RM5,000, three second prize winners won RM1,000 in vouchers, and three third prize winners won RM500 in vouchers.

There were also consolation prizes for 50 customers who took home a RM50 voucher each.

The awards recognised the top health and beauty brands sold in Guardian stores nationwide and winners were chosen through the “Vote and Win” contest from April 2-30.

 The response from customers was overwhelming with 10,000 entries received nationwide.
