Walk-a-Payung
Come join Persatuan Systemic Lupus Erythematosus Malaysia (PSLEM) and walk for a good cause on Sunday from 7am to noon. The organisation, which aims to bring awareness and help lupus patients nationwide, aims to raise RM100,000 for the association. Lupus, which affects 90 per cent females, is a life-long threatening disease that causes the body’s immune system to turn against its own healthy tissues. Jointly organised by the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) and Tropicana Medical Centre, this walk will start from the medical centre in Kota Damansara. Patients, family members and the public are expected to walk with an umbrella. For more information and registration visit www.lupusmalaysia.org, email pslemhq@gmail.com or call 03-7957 7672.
